Notes on Physiological Driving of Psychedelics

Subjective reports of psychedelic intoxication include references to awareness of internal physiological processes achieving synchronized efficiency. It is unknown if psychedelics have a globally coherent effect over all physiological processes, but since there are 5-HT receptors distributed throughout the entire body it is certainly within the realm of possibility.
